After the news of his release from WWE, Steve Cutler issued the following statement:
“Unfortunately, today I was released. It was shocking, to say the least. But, I am excited about the future and all the possibilities in front of me.

Cutler would be legally able to sign with any other wrestling company in early May. As noted earlier, Cutler was released after recently being brought back as part of Baron Corbin’s stable alongside Wesley Blake.
