Despite an earlier report from TMZ claiming that Sting would be retiring from pro wrestling, Sting told TMZ on Sunday that he is not officially retired. He did not elaborate more than that and when he was asked about Hulk Hogan’s court victory, he declined to comment.
Sting could just be using semantics here since the original report said that the plan was for him to officially announce his retirement at the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony. He has not wrestled since being injured in his match with Seth Rollins last September. He was diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis.
