Weeks before WrestleMania it was thought that Sting’s deal was just a formality and the word being used was that his signing was imminent. Now that a deal still hasn’t been signed the word imminent is no longer being uses in regards to the Sting deal. There was a deal a few years back when WWE believed Sting had agreed to work for them for 100 days. That was close to a done deal but Sting ended up signing with TNA. It’s believed that the TNA deal was for the same amount of money but less days on the road since he only worked TV tapings and some pay-per-views.
