Stone Cold Steve Austin is open to another WWE WrestleMania appearance

We may have not seen the last of Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania. WrestleVotes tweeted today that a WWE source believes that Austin would listen to any proposals for WrestleMania 39.

This lines up with what Austin said a few months ago after his match with Kevin Owens. During an interview on the Brewbound podcast, Austin said the following:

“I would really imagine that within the scope of that show, that’s gonna be a big show in a big time city and it’ll be a two-night event again so, I’m not — I’m sure I’m done wrestling per se, but as a part of WWE, I can’t imagine I would not be there in some capacity and I’m not booking myself on the show because I didn’t book myself on 38. That’s a Vince [McMahon] thing and I have a great relationship with him and if I get the call, I’ll be there.”

Don’t look for Austin to wrestle again because he considered the match with KO to be the perfect way to end his in-ring career. However, there are plenty of ways to incorporate Austin into the show. So far, there is no word on if WWE is considering bringing in Austin for Mania in Los Angeles.
