Summer Rae responds to fans angry that WWE called her a legend during Friday Night SmackDown

Following her appearance on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Summer Rae (real name Danielle Moinet) took to Twitter to comment on some of the angry fans on social media who were angry that she was referred to as a legend. There were many who were supportive of her being called a legend.

Rae said the following in the video clip below:

“I am seeing so many complaints that WWE called me a legend tonight. I don’t make the rules, y’all. They said what they said.”

Rae then rolled her eyes at the end of the clip. The video was very clever and it could get someone at WWE to consider bringing her back. Rae said on Renee Paquette’s podcast that she left WWE because of a bone spur in the vertebrae of her neck. Rae returns to the ring in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. During her post-WWE years, she has done a lot to expand her brand as an influencer with 1.7 million followers on Instagram.

Other former WWE stars who were featured this week on SmackDown were Jeff Jarrett and Eric Bischoff. Jarrett is based in Nashville and he will wrestle Effy at The Wrld on GCW at the Hammerstein Ballroom this Sunday on pay-per-view. Bischoff took part in a backstage segment with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville.
