As noted earlier, most of the main roster talent is stuck in Saudi Arabia as of this writing.
The private jet for Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman landed in the United States a few hours ago and they are in Buffalo, NY so it looks like they will be on tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown.
Meanwhile, several NXT wrestlers are being flown in from Florida to fill in the rest of tonight’s show so they will be the wrestlers appearing on the show as “surprises.” Since the Survivor Series will be a tri-branded event with NXT talent included, I would assume that they will start the hype for that pay-per-view on tonight’s SmackDown.
There seems to be more to the story about the stranded wrestlers in Saudi Arabia with people suggesting that the mechanical issue story is a cover for something else that happened.
We’ll post updates as soon as we get them.
