Gunnar Eudy, the son of newly inducted WWE Hall of Famer Sid Eudy, is making a major move to preserve Memphis wrestling history.
Taking to Facebook, Eudy announced that he has submitted an offer to acquire the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, Tennessee, with plans to make it the permanent home for his wrestling promotion, The Wrestling Order.
“Well it’s official. I just put in an offer on the Mid-South Coliseum with hopes of making it the permanent home for TWO, The Wrestling Order. It’s going to need a lot of renovations and work but it will be 100% worth it. This is a dream I’ve had for a long time. Memphis wrestling history belongs here,” Eudy wrote.
Beyond serving as the permanent home for The Wrestling Order, the venue is also expected to host the first Sycho Sid Memorial Show, a tribute to his father who passed away in August 2024 and was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame’s Legacy wing as part of the Class of 2026 during WrestleMania 42 weekend.
The Mid-South Coliseum has deep roots in professional wrestling history, having served as a key venue for Memphis wrestling during its peak years. Eudy’s bid to restore it as a wrestling venue would represent a significant effort to bring that heritage back to life.
Gunnar Eudy had previously been vocal about his frustration with how his father’s Hall of Fame induction was handled, noting that no family members were on stage for the Legacy induction and that no merchandise was available at the event. His announcement represents a proactive step toward honoring his father’s legacy on his own terms.
