Former WWE/Impact Wrestling star Taryn Terrell was recently interviewed on Vickie Guerrero’s “Excuse Me” podcast to talk about her wrestling career and what she’s been up to since leaving pro wrestling as a full-time performer.
Terrell is currently working as a stunt woman and actress in Hollywood but she popped up on NWA Powerrr last month and she expressed interest in wrestling Serena Deeb. Terrell was asked how she finds the time to fit it all in her schedule:
“The good news is the tapings there are for three days. I think the next one is not until June. So, it’s not so bad as far as tapings. We (her family) have a crazy schedule and we’re used to it. My kids are used to it. We don’t know anything but crazy. We are always moving and flowing, so we find time.”
Terrell was asked if she is going back into wrestling again:
“I’m not sure. I miss wrestling so much. You know how it is. When you’re not in it, it hurts your heart that you’re not part of it. Right before you’re ready to go through the curtain, I’m like, ‘I don’t think I remember everything. Am I ok? Am I going to do this?’ It’s like this panic and then you’re like, ‘I don’t think I know anything.’ Then you go out and do it and it’s like this release of all of this adrenaline. It’s the worst and the best feeling at the same time. I miss that challenge and that rush so much. So I got that feeling. I don’t know that I can go the way that these girls go now. I got to be honest. They’re intense. I’m in a different world, so I don’t know. We’ll see.’
Terrell said she working without a contract for NWA:
“They don’t do, as far as I know, at least in my situation, there’s no contract or anything. They film, like, in three days, we did a PPV in eight episodes, which is one season. Everything wraps up in that season. It’s hard to say if I will have a movie then or not. For now, it’s working. We’ll see and maybe I would be open to contracts. I like to go where life sort of takes me and enjoy the ride.”
