A Hall of Fame Night
“On Tuesday, August the fifth, I’m going to be at the Schoharie County Sunshine Fair… in Cobleskill, New York,” Long announced. “I’m going to be there on behalf of Immortal Championship Wrestling. And I’m going to also be a part of the Immortal Championship Wrestling Hall of Fame. They’re going to induct me there… class of ’25, Immortal Championship Wrestling.”
Long continued, detailing his on-screen role for the evening. “And also that night, just for them doing that, I’m going to be the acting General Manager for the night. So I’m telling you right now, it’s a lot of things going to be happening.”
A Busy Summer for The Hall of Famer
The upcoming appearance is one of several on Long’s busy summer schedule. He also noted that he will be appearing at WrestleCon during SummerSlam weekend in New Jersey, as well as at the popular Dragon Con convention in Atlanta at the end of August.
Teddy Long was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017 for his long and decorated career as a referee, manager, and on-screen authority figure. His nine-year run as the General Manager of SmackDown is the longest in the show’s history, making him one of the most recognizable and beloved wrestling personalities of his era.
