Ahead of tonight’s WWE Raw XXX 30th anniversary show, Hall Of Famer Teddy Long talked with Sportskeeda about some of the behind-the-scenes things happening in WWE.
Teddy on his upcoming appearance at RAW XXX:
“I’m so, so happy to be a part of that, man. I can’t wait to get there and see all the fans, and you know, man, you know me. I’m just gonna be holla, holla, holla.”
Long was asked what differences are there between Vince and Stephanie McMahon in terms of their management skills and how they treat people backstage:
“Well, I think that Vince and Stephanie are basically the same. They’re just strictly business, you know, no hard feelings against anybody to make them feel bad or whatever, but it’s all about business.”
If Stephanie and Linda McMahon are more alike than Stephanie and Vince:
“Well, I don’t know. I had a chance to do a couple of skits with Linda McMahon and I might have been in something else, but I never did try and put them two together, their reaction, or anything like that because I never looked at it like that. I never did see Miss McMahon as much as I saw Stephanie and Vince, so I couldn’t tell you. When I had encounters with Miss McMahon, she was always sweet, just as nice as she could be, great, but with Vince and Stephanie, I got to see both sides (he laughs).
On what he thought Shane McMahon was like when it came to business:
“Shane was laid back. He was cool. He knew how to get along with everybody, but Shane was also business too. He inherited that, so he understood too that when it’s time to play, it’s time to play, but when it’s business, it’s business.”
