Tehuti Miles reveals the original plans for Hit Row's Smackdown in-ring debut

Tehuti Miles, formerly WWE's "Ashante Thee Adonis" spoke with Sportskeeda this week where he talked about the possibility of returning to WWE, why he didn't make his in-ring Smackdown debut at the same time of his stable mates, and what it was like to work with Shawn Michaels.

On whether he would go back to WWE as a singles competitor:

“Absolutely. I would love to be a singles competitor, but to be honest, Hit Makers, we’re killing it and we’re confident," Tehuti said.

"This is the hottest act right now. It would be cool to be a singles competitor, but this is it. There is nothing like us.”

On why Swerve and Top Dolla made their in-ring debut on SmackDown without him:

“Before we got drafted in October, I got appendicitis out of nowhere, so I had to get surgery and I was out 4-6 weeks," he revealed.

"Technically, it was supposed to be me and Swerve in the tag match on SmackDown, but I wasn’t cleared yet.”

On working with Shawn Michaels backstage in NXT:

“He’s so caring. He wants you to do good. He’s such a nice dude," Miles shared.

"Watching him on TV and then having to work with him and stuff, he kind of acts the same, just like his mannerisms and stuff. He’s a really nice dude and it’s really nice to work with him.”
