The Twitter account for former NWA World Heavyweight Champion and WWE Hall Of Famer Terry Funk has provided an update.
Funk is said to be doing okay and he has heard the news that Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega will be facing off in an Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view.
Funk says the match is a good way to wake up Vince McMahon with a “good kick in the ass” and he wants Moxley and Omega to know that he is pulling for them.
As many of you know, Funk wrestled in Exploding Barbed Wire matches in the 1990s against Cactus Jack and Atsushi Onita. Moxley and Omega will have their match on Sunday, Marcy 7 on the Bleacher Report Live app, PPV, and on FITE TV for international fans.

Just talked to Mr. Funk & he’s doing okay. He just wanted to wish @JonMoxley & @KennyOmegamanX the best of luck in their exploding barbed wire match. He says the match is a good way for @aew to wake up Vince with a good kick in his ass. He wants you to know he’s pulling for you!
