The Bella Twins (Brie Bella and Nikki Bella) recently spoke with Pacific San Diego magazine to promote their new spinoff reality series “Total Bellas,” which will premiere on Wednesday, October 5 at 9:00 p.m. EST on the E! Network.
“People got a taste of our family in ‘Total Divas,’ and now it’s like, ‘Let’s throw us all in a house and see what happens.’ That’s what we wanted to give the fans,” Nikki said.
The Bellas will be coming out with a new clothing line, “Birdiebee,” and Brie explained the idea behind the company.
“A lot of women are confused about what empowerment is. It’s about how brave you are inside, your courage, your confidence and what you stand for.”
Nikki was put out of action for several months after suffering a neck injury and ultimately undergoing surgery. Total Bellas will feature footage of her recovery. Nikki noted that she feels good now, but admitted that recovery from surgery was a difficult time for her.
“I feel so good now, but I never want to get neck surgery again. Being in a neck brace 24/7 was so aggravating and so uncomfortable. It made the days seem so slow. It was a really difficult time.”
