The Boogeyman signs contract to return to WWE

Marty Wright, known to wrestling fans as The Boogeyman, noted on Twitter that he has signed a contract with the company. The contract shown in the clip below lists him as a contractor.

Wright was first noticed by company executives after he appeared as a contestant in Tough Enough in 2004. He was eliminated from the show after it was revealed that he lied about his age but he was ultimately offered a deal at a later point.

Wright debuted on SmackDown in 2005. As part of the Boogyman gimmick, he would hide in various parts of the arena and scare off other Superstars and he would also eat worms during his matches.

The Boogeyman’s run with the company ended in 2009 but he would go on to make sporadic appearances over the years for WWE.
