WWE recently filed for “The OC” trademark for The Club.
Moving forward, they will be using The OC name instead of The Club. Apparently, The OC means Original Club or The Only Club that matters.
The OC members have been using the new name in some of their recent social media posts.
“I mean, we’ll have to see where he stands. We’re not exactly liked right now,” Styles told TheWrap when he was asked about Finn Balor being added to the faction. “Does he want to be not liked? I don’t know. I don’t know where it’s going to stand. He will always have an invitation, but who knows if it’s going to happen.”
Balor is set for a match with Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam and then he will take 2 months off from WWE so maybe the right time for him to join The OC would be when he returns. He certainly would be a good fit since he was part of the original Bullet Club in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
