“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt wrestled Seth Rollins on Friday night in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Wyatt wrestled a quick squash match over a week ago in a dark match and quickly defeated Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel but the match on Friday night would be his first house show match since he debuted as The Fiend.
The match on Friday night went for about 10 minutes. Towards the end, Wyatt locked in the mandible claw in the corner of the ring and the referee called for the bell because he would not let go of the hold.
After the match, Rollins hit Wyatt with several curb stomps and then was about to pose with the Universal Championship but Wyatt grabbed him and put on the mandible claw again as the lights went out. Wyatt was gone when the lights came back on and Rollins was declared the winner via disqualification.
Rollins and Wyatt will wrestle for the WWE Universal Championship next month at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. Wyatt and Rollins are also scheduled to wrestle each other at several upcoming live events.
