Former WWE stars The IIconics officially announced their new tag team name today.
As it was noted here in June, the former Peyton Royce and Billie Kay filed to trademark “The IInspiration” with the USPTO and they announced today that they will indeed be moving forward with that name. Individually, Royce will be using the name Cassie Lee and Kay will be using the name Jessie McKay.
“Finally, IInspiration returns to professional wrestling,” Lee tweeted. “Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay present The IInspiration Tour. Dates and cities to be announced soon.”

Lee and McKay are free agents after being released by WWE in April as part of their budget cuts. Lee and McKay broke up last year and there were plans for Lee to be a top star in the women’s division on Raw but those plans fell through. McKay was moved to SmackDown but was not used much, aside from doing comedy skits.
