On this week’s episode of NXT, the man formerly known as Uhaa Nation will now be known as Apollo Crews. Crews had been appearing in NXT segments but he was not referred to by name because the company had yet to figure out what name to give him.
Crews will be making his official in-ring debut on August 22nd at the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn special on the WWE Network.
From what I was told, the “Crews” part of his name comes from the fact that he has a resemblance to actor Terry Crews.
