As reported, it is expected that WWE and USA will announce a new deal later today. It’s believed that WWE delayed the announcement to allow USA to make the announcement at the NBC Universal Upfront presentation. E! has already ordered ten more episodes of Total Divas so that may be an indication that the reports are correct.
As noted earlier this week, the timing is great for WWE. Without Raw on their schedule, USA would fall to 7th place with a 22.6% decline in total viewers. SyFy, without Smackdown would fall from 22nd place to 24th place but that is not as big of a deal.
