Kickoff Show
There was a Kickoff show interview with Big E and Kofi Kingston ahead of their Tables Match later tonight. D-Von Dudley appeared with them and he gave his “secret” to his success. Basically, D-Von just said that they just need to put their opponents through a table.

There was a backstage interview with Bobby Lashley and MVP ahead of tonight’s match between MVP and Apollo Crews for the U.S. Title.

Kevin Owens vs. Murphy
This was a late addition that was announced earlier today. Very good fast-paced match for a Kickoff show. Owens won the match after hitting the Stunner. The announcers played up that Owens removed Murphy from the equation for later tonight when Rey Mysterio steps into the ring with Seth Rollins.

Main Card
WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship – Tables Match
The New Day vs. Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura
The only way to win this match is to put your opponents through a table. There are no tags and basically no DQ for this type of match.

It was a straight wrestling match for a few seconds but Kofi and Big E quickly went under the ring to bring a table into the ring in the opening minute of the match. They almost put Cesaro through a table but Nakamura saved him. Moments later, Nakamura and Cesaro had the upper hand on Big E but Big E fought back and he tried to spear them through the ropes but they countered with knees to the face.

Nakamura set up a table in front of the announcer’s table just as Kofi did a crazy trust dive onto Nakamura at ringside. Kofi and Big E set stacked a table on top of the other one set up in front of the announcer’s table. The action moved back to the ring and then back to ringside as Kofi took out Cesaro and Nakamura. Cesaro and Nakamura got back on offense and they put Kofi through the stacked tables to win the titles.

WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Bayley vs. Nikki Cross

Very early in the match, Cross almost won the title when hit a backbreaker on Bayley. Bayley was barely able to kick out but then Cross continued on offense with a body press off the top, a near fall and another body press off the top and another near fall. Bayley took over by driving Cross into the ring apron and into the barricade.

Lots of back and forth like most WWE matches. Late in the match, Sasha handed the BOSS brass knuckles and Bayley used it to hit Cross as the referee was distracted. Bayley pinned Cross.

In a pre-taped segment, Bray Wyatt appeared in the Fun House with a vampire outfit. He said Braun would not be able to escape the swamp.

WWE United States Championship
Apollo Crews vs. MVP
Tom Phillips says Apollo Crews did not pass the pre-match physical so he is not cleared to wrestle. MVP and Bobby Lashley walked out to the ring. MVP declared himself as the new United States Champion due to forfeit. That was basically the end of the segment.

Eye For An Eye Match
Rey Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins

Both men each tried to go for each other’s eye in the opening minute. Rollins brought a kendo stick into the match. There was a nasty looking Falcon Arrow from Rollins to the back of Mysterio on the ring apron, the hardest part of the ring. After that move, Rollins tried to tear at Mysterio’s eye again. Rollins tried to use a rebar as a weapon but Mysterio ducked out of the way but Rollins was able to catch up to him and he went for the eye again and then he drove Rey into the barricade.

Rollins tossed Rey into the ring and he was about to jam the kendo stick into the eye but Rey fought back but then Rollins shoved Rey out of the ring and Rey slid onto a flat table on the floor. Rey was finally able to fight back by using a chair but it was a brief comeback as Rollins got some tools to try to take Rey’s eye out. Rey was able to buy some time when he tripped up Rollins and Rollins face hit the corner of the announcer’s table. Again, Rollins was back on offense and he used rope to try to tie Mysterio to the bottom rope but Rey fought back again and Rey used his legs to ram Rollins into the steel post. Back in the ring, Rey took kendo shots to the ribs and back. Seth tried to ram Rey’s eye into a kendo stick wedged into the corner but Rey blocked it and then he hit a flurry of offense, including a frog splash off the top. Rey looked like he was going for a Destroyer but Seth countered and Rey was planted face-first on the mat. Rollins went for the stomp but Rey moved and countered into a tornado DDT. The action spilled to ringside and Rey was able to flip Rollins into the barricade and one more time but this time Rey dove through the ropes before he flipped Rollins with extra force into the barricade. Rey then broke apart the kendo stick to make it sharp so he could jab it into Seth’s eye. Rey then hit a 619 as Seth covered up his right eye. At ringside, Mysterio hit Rollins with a stomp. Rey shoved Seth’s eye into the point of the steel steps but Seth his Rey with a low blow and then a superkick to the face. Seth then hit Rey with a stomp and then he shoved Rey’s eye into the steps. The match ended and Seth could be seen throwing up at ringside because, apparently, he saw Rey lose his eye. The trainers walked out and helped Rey to the back.

They aired a video package to hype the Wyatt Swamp Fight.

WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Asuka vs. Sasha Banks

Asuka had Kairi Sane in her corner and Bayley was in the corner of Sasha Banks. Earlier in the night, Banks helped Bayley retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship in her match with Nikki Cross.

Early in the match, Asuka was able to lock in the armbar but Banks rolled to the bottom rope to break the hold. Banks got back on offense for several minutes, including locking in a butterfly lock followed by stomps to the chest but Asuka was able to fight back with a spinning backlist but Asuka charged and Banks caught her with her legs and drove Asuka into the turnbuckle but Asuka hit a codebreaker on Banks from the middle rope.

Both women fought on the apron and at ringside with Banks picking up Asuka and ramming her into the barricade. Back in the ring, Banks hit a frog splash and she followed up with the Banks Statement but Asuka got to the bottom rope to break the hold. Asuka got back on offense with a German suplex and kicks to the body and a pin attempt that Banks kicked out of. Asuka hit another German suplex and a hip attack but Banks kicked out of the pin attempt. Asuka went for a dropkick off the top but Banks moved and hit a knee to the face and then a near fall that Asuka kicked out of.

Asuka fought back and tried a German suplex off the top but Banks reversed and landed on her knees. Banks began to favor her left knee. They traded blows as Banks continued to favor her knee. Asuka had the Asuka Lock on as Bayley tried to interfere. Kairi Sane blocked Bayley but Bayley took out Sane at ringside. Asuka got Banks to tap but the ref wasn’t looking. Bayley tried to get involved but Asuka nailed her with a kick to the face. Sasha grabbed the Woemen’s Tag belt but the ref took it away from her and Asuka got up. Asuka spit out green mist but Sasha moved and the ref took the mist in the face. Bayley nailed Asuka with the belt as the ref was blinded. Bayley took the shirt off the ref and she put it on and she decided to count Asuka out. Sasha’s music played as she celebrated her title “win” with Bayley. Clearly, Banks is not the real champion but they want the fans to think this for now until Raw when they give the title back to Asuka.

WWE Championship
Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler

Before the match got started, Ziggler said he is smarter than McIntyre and he announced that the stipulation is Extreme Rules for Dolph Ziggler only. Also, McIntyre could lose the title if he gets counted out or disqualified. McIntyre was forced to stay within the rules of the match while Ziggler could do anything he wanted. This is WWE’s attempt to try to make fans think that Ziggler has a chance at winning the match.

Dolph tried to use a steel chair but McIntyre blocked it. McIntyre had to toss the chair, per the rules of the match. Ziggler also brought a table into the match. McIntyre picked up Ziggler for a suplex at ringside but he had to slam him on the floor instead of through the table, per the rules of the match.

Back in the ring, Ziggler nailed McIntyre with several chair shots to the back. They ended up fighting again at ringside and McIntyre ended up taking a famouser off the announce table and to the floor. Back in the ring, Ziggler locked in a sleeper hold but McIntyre powered out of it by pulling Ziggler off of him but McIntyre hurt his shoulder on the ring post. McIntyre fought back and was about to hit the Claymore but Ziggler caught him in the leg with a chair and a zig zag. McIntyre was able to kick out of the pin attempt.

Ziggler did a diving elbow onto McIntyre through a table at ringside as the ref began to count but McIntyre made it back in the ring at the count of 9. Ziggler went back in the ring but McIntyre caught him with the Glasgow Kiss headbutt. Ziggler fought back with the famouser and zig zag and a Rock Bottom onto a chair but McIntyre kicked out. Ziggler was about to set up for a superkick but McIntyre surprised him with the Claymore. McIntyre pinned him to retain the title.

Wyatt Swamp Fight
Bray Wyatt vs. Braun Strowman

Wyatt sat in a rocking chair as he watched Braun arrive in his vehicle. The lights went out and back on and then Bray was gone from his chair so Braun went to look for him as images of animals flashed. Bray appeared out of nowhere and attacked Braun.

Braun laid on the ground as he looked up to see the Wyatt Family version of himself standing over him. The old Braun swung a weapon at the current Braun but the screen went to black.

All of a sudden, Braun was strapped with a chain to a chair as Bray’s old music played and Bray appeared dressed as his original main roster character. Bray said he can’t be hurt because he’s already dead and he has missed Braun. Bray told Braun that he is not his enemy and the human race is a bacteria that invades and destroys. Bray said that he and Braun together could be like gods.

Bray told Braun that he needs to destroy him in order to get him to be the monster he wants him to be but Braun said he would never do Bray’s bidding. A mysterious figure walked in with a snake and the snake bit Braun in the face.

The scene cuts to outside where Braun is free but he is fighting off men wearing black. One of the men were set on fire and he ran off into the darkness. A women was heard calling out Braun’s name and telling him to come home. The woman was Alexa Bliss telling Braun that she knows that he’s wanted to be with her and he should follow her home. Bray attacked out of nowhere but Braun fought him off and tossed him into a boat and the boat took off and then it returned with no one inside it. Bruan went into the water and he was attacked by Bray. Braun was able to escape out of the water as images of children appeared. Then Bray appeared and hit Braun with a shovel and punches to the head. Braun fought back and then ended up on a pier and Bray repeatedly hit Braun with a large stick or something.

Bray started to peer out as Braun got up behind him. Braun shoved Bray into the water and Braun declared that the fight was over but Bray appeared and locked in the Mandible Claw and pulled Braun into the water. The Fiend then appeared out of the water as the show went off the air so apparently, Bray won the match.
