The late Tim White will be posthumously awarded with the Warrior Award at the WWE Hall of Fame

Tim White will posthumously take his place in the WWE Hall of Fame when he is inducted as part of the 2023 class.

WWE announced today on the Bump that he will join Rey Mysterio, Stacy Keibler, The Great Muta, and late comedian Andy Kaufman as part of the 2023 class when he will receive the Warrior Award.

White worked for WWE for several years. He started out helping Andre The Giant on the road in the 1980s to make his life easier while traveling, and they became close friends. He was interviewed for Andre’s HBO documentary a few years ago.

White was also a referee for WWE before retiring due to a shoulder injury he suffered in a Hell in a Cell match in 2002 between Chris Jericho and Triple H. He later shifted into a road agent.

He was beloved among WWE talent and staff. White passed away in June 2022 at the age of 68 years old.

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is scheduled for this Friday after SmackDown. Kayla Braxton will host the ceremony.
