So, was that the end for Ambrose in WWE? It doesn’t look like there’s a match planned for him so that could have been the end for him. It’s worth noting that he can still appear on shows for another month or so because his contract doesn’t expire until the end of April and WWE has The Shield advertised for a show in late April.
On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reached out to a trusted WWE source and was told that, despite how things look on TV, nothing has changed with Ambrose. As of Monday night, he still plans on leaving the company.
There are some people in WWE that think he can be convinced to stay. They did come back at him with a better money offer last week and he turned it down. Others believe he will sign with All Elite Wrestling.
