The latest on WWE Hall of Famer possibly making an appearance at Super ShowDown

The latest news on one WWE Hall of Famer potentially making an appearance at WWE’s next event in Saudi Arabia has surfaced.

Last month it was reported by PWinsider.com that there had been a lot of talk about Sting being a major part of Super ShowDown where he could make a return to in-ring action.

At the time, it was noted in the report that the deal wasn’t 100% done. In fact, the conversations had proceeded so far that some believed Sting could appear at the Royal Rumble in order to get the ball rolling.

Obviously, Sting didn’t appear at the show.

Pwinsider.com reported on Tuesday that as of last night, they were told those talks have died down. Thus, it appears that a deal wasn’t reached and Sting won’t be appearing at the Saudi Arabia show.

WWE holds the Super ShowDown pay-per-view event on Thursday, February 27, 2020 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Fahd International Stadium.
