WWE Superstar The Miz has shared his thoughts on the recent news of R-Truth’s impending departure from WWE. R-Truth announced on June 1, 2025, that his contract with the company will not be renewed upon its expiration.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, The Miz, who teamed with R-Truth as “Awesome Truth,” shared his feelings about his former partner’s exit. “Obviously, I was in a tag team with R-Truth, so it’s always sad to see something like that happen,” The Miz stated.
Despite the unfortunate news, “The A-Lister” is confident in R-Truth’s ability to succeed in his next chapter. “But I think Truth will bounce on his feet. He’s a hell of a talented superstar,” The Miz added.
Awesome Truth had a memorable run in WWE, including a reign as WWE Tag Team Champions. R-Truth’s departure marks the end of a nearly 17-year cumulative tenure that made him a beloved multi-time champion and consistent fan favorite.
