WWE has been running a storyline on social media between Intercontinental Champion The Miz and Smackdown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan. According to the storyline, Miz is not happy where he is and he has been in negotiations with Bryan.
WWE is teasing that Miz take the Intercontinental title to Monday Night Raw. I don’t know where this storyline is headed but the plan for the No Mercy pay-per-view was for The Miz to defend the IC title against Dolph Ziggler with the stipulation being that Maryse cannot get involved in the match. At one point, there were plans for them to wrestle in a steel cage on that show.
