The reason why Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens is happening at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn

Dave Meltzer noted on the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that the  reason that WWE decided to book Kevin Owens vs. Finn Balor for the NXT Championship at the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn event was because the company will be going head to head with Ring of Honor that weekend.

WWE feels that that Balor vs. Samoa Joe wouldn’t be as big of a draw in that venue and Owens is the biggest draw WWE has right now in NXT available.
