The Revival are not pleased with the controversial finish to their WWE Raw Tag Team Title match

The Revival has had to put up with quite a bit on Monday Night Raw for the past few weeks. After finally overcoming Lucha House Party’s Lucha House Rules, the pair earned themselves a shot at the Raw Tag Team Championships. They faced defending champions Bobby Roode and Chad Gable on this week’s episode of Raw. However, they weren’t able to get the job done after Gable picked up the win for his team by pinning Scott Dawson.

As it turns out, Dawson wasn’t the legal man in the match, so the pinfall should not have counted. This was even mentioned by the announcers on TV, so perhaps WWE could be angling for a rematch between the two teams at some point in the near future. With that being said, both Wilder and Dawson are not happy with the ordeal. They recently took to Twitter to voice their frustrations:

“All we want for Christmas is tag team wrestling to take its place as one of the most entertaining, creative, beautiful things in our business.”

““Pin the illegal guy” House Rules. Oldest trick in the book.”

“First, 3-on-2 Good Lucha Things match. Followed by a 3-on-1 Lucha something-something match. Last night, I, the illegal man, get pinned and we “lose” our championship match? All I want for Christmas is .”
