As noted over the weekend, there are signs that The Revival are still unhappy with how things are going for them in WWE.
Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder picked out a fan wearing an AEW shirt and posted with them at the live event in Elmira, New York. Remember, they asked for their release from WWE in January and they are friends with The Young Bucks so there’s speculation that they will sign with All Elite Wrestling if they receive their release or when their contracts expire.
The fan posted photos from his meeting with Dash and Dawson and quoted one of them saying “I’ll see you in May.” That implies that they will be appearing at Double Or Nothing in Las Vegas but their contracts expire in April of 2020 so that is not possible unless WWE gives them an early release.
The fan also said “money isn’t everything” and the response he got was “ain’t that the truth,” according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
Wilder, in response to two young fans who received Raw Tag Team Titles for their birthday, said the following in a tweet: “Please don’t wish being Raw tag team champs on them. For their sake.”
Wilder and Dawson are the Raw Tag Team Champions but they have been losing non-title matches on television in recent weeks and they don’t have much momentum so it’s no surprise to hear that they might still be unhappy.
