The Rock addresses his status for WrestleMania
WSVN-TV’s Chris Van Vliet recently interviewed The Rock and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as part of the publicity for his new “Rampage” movie.
During the first few seconds, Van Vliet noted that he would be in New Orleans for WrestleMania. Rock said that he would not be there. “You will not see me there,” Rock said.
I wouldn’t expect Rock to reveal anything if there are plans for him to make a surprise appearance. With that being said, one of the rumors going around on social media is that there’s a concert segment planned with Elias and that would lead to The Rock interrupting him.
I have no idea if Rock will or will not be there on Sunday but I did find it interesting that they gave Elias a win over Heath Slater on Raw. On any other show that wouldn’t mean much but the fact they had so much to cram into Monday’s show and made room for an Elias squash match made me wonder if they wanted to give Elias a win heading into Sunday because they had plans for him.
