The Rock made an appearance for the live crowd at the Staples Center in Los Angeles before Monday’s episode of RAW went live on the USA Network. As noted, the reason that The Rock was backstage at the event is because he will be filming scenes for the “Fighting With My Family” movie, which is based on Paige and her family that he’s working on with WWE Studios, after the show goes off the air.
The Rock walked out and cut a promo on the stage about the post-show filming. He mentioned Paige, which started a “si” chant from the fans in attendance. He took a shot at John Cena by saying that Cena is in the movie but then retracted and stated that he was kidding because they want a good movie. He joked that Cena would text him for that jab then went on to do his signature catchphrases. This led to Vince McMahon walking out as the show was about to go live. The Rock told the crowd that he would not be on the RAW broadcast and that the post-RAW scene that they were filming is base on Paige defeated AJ Lee for the Divas Championship.
