Cathy Kelley caught up with The Rock on the red carpet ahead of the New York City premiere of “Skyscraper.” Kelley asked The Rock if he plans on getting back in the ring for WWE.
He said, “Look, I can’t wait to get back into a WWE ring. Everybody always asks me what’s it like being in a WWE ring. I always tell everybody [celebrities, athletes, and fans] there’s nothing like it. There is nothing like [being] inside of a WWE ring.”
I am sure Vince McMahon would love to have him on board for WrestleMania 35. Rock also talked about how special it is for New York City to host the premiere for his new movie because Madison Square Garden is just a couple of miles away and that is the place where he made his debut back in 1996. Kelly also spoke with Ata Johnson, the mother of The Rock. She talked about her granddaughter Simone’s aspirations to become a WWE Superstar. Johnson gave her thoughts on the upcoming Raw Women’s Championship match between Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss. Check out the video below:
