The Rock reveals who he thinks is the GOAT in pro wrestling

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has given his take on who he thinks the greatest of all time (GOAT) in pro wrestling.

Just like putting together the list of names for Mount Rushmore of professional wrestling, who people think is the GOAT is also opinionated as most have different views on the topic.

Most people would say The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and John Cena as just some of the names that come to mind.

The former WWE Champion responded to a tweet sent out by FOX that asked fans who they thought was better – The Rock or Steve Austin. This is where The Rock named “Downtown Bruno”, famously known among fans as Harvey Wippleman. He wrote the following:

“In wrestling? Easy answer; when I was 15 (broke & evicted) this man let me live with him in Nashville. Downtown Bruno. Most don’t know who Bruno is but a few do. My brother @steveaustinBSR comes in a very close 2nd. Cheers to life’s wild and unpredictable journey. #goat.”

While The Rock is retired from pro wrestling, he continues to move forward with his acting career. His next film, Jungle Cruise, was pushed back until next year due to the coronavirus outbreak.

He was in the middle of filming Red Notice with Ryan Reynolds before production was halted. He’s also preparing for DC’s Black Adam.
