Variety.com is reporting that MGM was more secretive about the “Hercules” movie than originally thought. The studios were so strict about keeping The Rock’s look a secret that they fired dozens of people for attempting to take photos of him while in costume.
“I would say maybe close to 50 people were fired — crew members — all trying to sneak pictures,” Johnson told Variety. “There’s mandate and we all agreed on that.”
Rock had been tweeting teasers on his twitter account but never fully gave anything away. The studio released the first trailer for the film on Tuesday.
