The event will take place on April 3, 2016, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This event will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets.
Dave Meltzer noted that the original plans for the show were for The Rock vs. Triple H but those plans changed because of an insurance issue with the movie studio that Rock is working with. Then the plan was for Seth Rollins vs. Triple H but Rollins got injured so that caused WWE to start from scratch with their WrestleMania plans.
There’s still no word on what The Rock’s role will be at the event.
