The Rock: The Final Boss Is Coming SmackDown To Handle Business And F**k Up A Certain Someone’s Life With Gospel

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has announced via social media that he will appear on this week’s WWE SmackDown at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

The Rock’s last WWE appearance was at the Raw Netflix premiere on January 6th, where he placed the Ula Fala around Roman Reigns’ neck after Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat match. This followed a babyface promo, seemingly marking a shift away from his “Final Boss” persona, followed by an appearance on NXT the next night.

While plans previously called for a match between The Rock and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, recent reports suggest The Rock is not currently scheduled to wrestle at the event. However, the situation remains fluid, as The Rock ultimately decides his involvement and a match could still happen if he feels like he’s in a ring shape.

The Rock shared an update about his intentions on the show by writing in the comments of his Instagram post, “The Final Boss is coming to handle business, deliver a big beautiful gift to the city of New Orleans, and fuck up a certain someone’s life with the Final Boss gospel. #smackdown.”
