Ata Johnson, who is the mother of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, recently did an interview with The Hannibal TV where she spoke about a wide range of topics.
Rock returned to WWE part-time from 2011–13. During this time, the former WWE Champion beat John Cena at WrestleMania 28 in Miami, Florida then the next year at WrestleMania 29, Cena beat The Rock to win the WWE Title in New Jersey.
Part of the storyline for this feud was the fact that Cena wanted Rock back in the WWE and make more appearances than he had been due to his successful career in Hollywood. Now, Cena sees why Rock was away from the WWE now that he is starting to have success while acting.
During this interview, she mentioned how she misses seeing her son wrestle and would like to see him return one more time to take on Cena.
“I miss him in the ring. I’ve been watching him all these years, and I think he’s really great at what he did. I’d love to see him come back one more time and lay the smackdown on John Cena, I totally enjoyed their matches.”
