The Undertaker shares who he thinks should be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame

The Undertaker will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year as part of the 2022 class after a 30-year career in the company.

The legendary pro wrestler spoke with Dallas Morning News about the honor and during it, he was asked who he thinks should be inducted. This is where he noted he believes his wife Michelle McCool should be a WWE Hall Of Famer.

“There’s several. Off the top of my head, and this is going to sound really super political, but I believe my wife [Michelle McCool] should be in. She was one working in an era where women didn’t get nearly the opportunities that they do now, and she fought so hard for the women to kind of get more of a spotlight put on them.”

Taker recalled her getting reprimanded or having too good of a match with Melina. He put her over for her work ethic in a time period when female wrestlers weren’t given a lot of opportunities,

“I think she deserves a nod. And, my goodness, there’s a laundry list of male talent that I can run off. But I’m just trying to get through this one. I’ve got to get this speech put together. Then, we’ll figure out who else goes in…I’ve got papers all over the place with notes and ideas. It’s been a while since I’ve had this kind of nervous energy, if you will.”

McCool signed with WWE in 2004 and worked as a full-time star until 2011. While the promotion, she was a two-time Women’s Champion and two-time Divas Champion. Her most recent match was at this year’s Royal Rumble where she worked the Women’s Royal Rumble bout.
