The Usos break their own WWE record

The Usos have been a top tag team since their arrival in WWE and have gone on to hold multiple titles together.

Jimmy and Jey Uso are currently in the middle of another reign as the SmackDown Tag Team Champions. They’ve held the titles for 187 days.

Not only does this make them the longest-reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions of all time, but more impressively, they beat out their own previous record of the second-longest reign lasting 182 days.

That reign lasted from Hell In A Cell in 2017 until WrestleMania 34. Their current reign started on July 18, 2021, when they beat Rey and Dominik Mysterio on the Money in the Bank Kickoff show.

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will make his next title defense against Seth Rollins at the Royal Rumble. WWE just announced on Friday Night SmackDown that The Usos will be barred from ringside during the bout.
