The latest match between The Street Profits and Undisputed Tag Team Champions The Usos took place at Saturday’s SummerSlam event. WWE brought in Hall Of Famer Jeff Jarrett as the special guest referee for the bout.

The back and forth match ended when The Usos double superkicked Angelo Dawkins, and then hit him with 1D.

The WWE Stats Twitter account noted Jimmy and Jey Uso made history at this event from Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee:

“Not counting kickoff matches, the @WWEUsos are the first duo in @WWE history to defend a tag team title at two consecutive #SummerSlam PPV events.”

This was a rematch from the Money in the Bank where The Usos retained their titles against The Street Profits in controversial fashion as the referee missed that Montez Ford had his shoulder up while being pinned.

This appears to be the final match between these two teams for now, and WWE is still planting seeds with a split between The Street Profits as Ford looked frustrated after the match. As previously reported, some officials want to have Ford become a singles star.
