There Are No WWE Creative Plans In Place For Brock Lesnar

After Brock Lesnar references were made on Monday’s WWE Raw, speculation about his potential return started.

On a recent edition of a Backstage Pass Q&A, it was asked whether Lesnar was returning to WWE. Bill Apter said that people in WWE have said they’re talking, while WrestleVotes said “yes.” This is when speculation intensified.

It has been reported for months that Lesnar won’t be brought back should both sides agree to it until WWE’s legal team clears him in the lawsuit that Janel Grant filed against John Laurinaitis, Vince McMahon, and WWE. A former WWE/UFC Heavyweight Champion was named in the lawsuit, and Lesnar was later identified as that champion.

Once the lawsuit was filed, WWE removed him from the WWE 2K25 video game and nixed creative plans for him. He has also remained on the talent roster on WWE.com.

Fightful Select reports that there are no plans for him to return right now, and what was said on WrestleVotes Radio was “denied within the company on a high level.” A source stated, “There are no creative plans in place for Lesnar, and if conversations have occurred, we’ve not been briefed on that.”

The report stated no new producers have been created for him, and Lesnar is among a few names that were not to be mentioned on TV in recent months. Regarding the Raw references, those close to Cody Rhodes, who made one of the references, had heard nothing of a status change for Lesnar as of this week.

Fightful also noted that they’ve heard no creative pitches for him in months, with one source stating they would be surprised if Lesnar returned while the feds were investigating the allegations.
