There Are Plans For Jesse Ventura To Be Part Of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

Fans can expect to see Jesse Ventura make another appearance on WWE TV.

The WWE Hall of Famer confirmed earlier this month that he signed a WWE Legends deal, something he has been working on for months. The iconic wrestler made a name for himself as a wrestler before becoming an announcer for WWE.

Once news broke that Ventura had signed the deal, fans began speculating how he could be used on television if the two sides wanted that to happen. With Saturday Night’s Main Event returning on December 14th, many thought it would be cool to see him participate in the iconic event he had been part of for years.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that there are plans for Ventura to be at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Meltzer wrote, “The role is to be determined. Right now the idea is for him not to announce the entire show, perhaps an interview segment or announcing a match but the idea now is simply for him to be part of the show for nostalgia reasons.”
