There Have Been Problems With Charlotte Flair And Tiffany Stratton For Weeks

WWE fans are still talking about the segment involving Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair from Friday’s SmackDown, where the two stars went off-script and took personal shots at each other that led to them going ivral.

Stratton told Charlotte she would always come second to her father, Ric Flair, and “When it’s all said and done, you’re gonna be just like you are outside of the ring — alone.” Stratton also discussed Flair’s personal life, asking, “What is that record? 0-3?” before Charlotte asked, “Is that why Kaiser’s in my DMs?”

After the segment, WWE removed the lines from their digital video recaps. WWE posted parts of the segment on social media and YouTube but did not include the final comments between the two stars. The USA Network’s social media accounts shared the original footage.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted there have been problems between the two stars for the last two weeks.

Meltzer said, “There have been problems between the two for about two weeks. So people knew about it. And, I mean, you can even, you know, one thing about this is it also shows a complete double standard in how people view things. Because if this same thing had happened in AEW, while the blame would still probably go on the people in the ring, of course, it would largely go on Tony Khan for, if it was him, for ‘You’ve had two weeks to figure this out, to get these people on the same page. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.’ And there they went, out there, and they just went off the rails. And both of them, did you know what I mean? It was like Charlotte is getting  or Ashley is getting more of the blame, and probably deservedly so, but they both are getting blamed for it.”
