Paul ” Triple H ” Levesque announced that WWE’s Money in the Bank premium live event for 2026 will be held in New Orleans on Saturday, August 29th.
This scheduling is part of a revised agreement with the city after WWE decided to move WrestleMania 42 (originally planned for New Orleans in 2026) to a different location. Las Vegas is now strongly expected to host for the second consecutive year after hosting WrestleMania 41 in mid-April.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, “There is also another WrestleMania in Las Vegas on the books.”
The late August date for Money in the Bank in New Orleans is unusual for the event, which typically takes place in June or July. Now, it will be after SummerSlam.
