There Is Now A Third Version Of The Story Of What Is Going On With Jade Cargill

WWE has fans speculating what to believe when it comes to Jade Cargill’s status after shooting an injury angle a week ago on SmackDown when a mystery attacker ambushed her.

It was originally believed Cargill would be out of action for a while after WWE filmed an angle in which Cargill was laid out on top of a car during an episode of SmackDown. As Dave Meltzer previously reported, Cargill’s absence from storylines was to cover for an actual injury with the belief she would be out of action for at least three months, if not longer.

WrestleVotes came out with a report noting he heard WWE was planning to strip Cargill and Bianca Belair of the Women’s Tag Team Titles. However, PWInsider.com reported on Thursday that they were told that Cargill isn’t injured and that the mystery attacker angle was used for a storyline.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that several versions are going around, including one that covers up a legitimate injury. One person told Meltzer that it seems like nobody, including her friends, knows what the injury actually is or why it happened. A WWE higher-up claimed she was injured, and the stories denying it are false. In another version, the injury was done to cover for a political backstage issue.

One theory behind the mystery attacker is that it could build to the eventual split between Cargill and Belair.
