As noted earlier, Triple H will kick off tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. He is a late addition to the show as the company scrambles to replace Drew McIntyre, who tested positive for COVID-19.
Wrestling Inc. is reporting that the word going around backstage at Raw is that Triple H will be wrestling tonight. There is no word on who he would wrestle tonight but it wouldn’t be a shock if the plan is for him to wrestle Randy Orton since Orton is still booked to wrestle tonight but Triple H vs. Orton is not confirmed.
Triple H hasn’t had a match since June 2019 in Tokyo, Japan where he teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura against Samoa Joe and Robert Roode.
WWE is up against the Alabama vs. Ohio State National Championship game, which is why WWE is looking to put on a big match tonight. WWE has also announced that Drew McIntyre will appear tonight. He will likely appear via Zoom call since he has tested positive for COVID-19.
