There Was Some Internal Frustration With The Booking Of WWE Raw Match

Monday’s episode of WWE Raw was the first to be broadcast in the two-hour format after over a decade of being three hours long.

WWE made a deal with USA to keep Raw on the channel until they go to Netflix in January. The USA Network made the call for the move to a two-hour format. Once Raw goes to Netflix, there have been mixed reports about whether the show will remain two hours or go back to three hours.

On the show, there were four matches, and many fans felt the pacing was rushed. Fightful reports that there were some “growing pains” with the change. However, the formatting of Raw wasn’t difficult for WWE because they’re used to running SmackDown with the same duration.

The report added, “There was some internal frustration with booking the women’s tag team match between the perceived lack of direction for the talent involved and a commercial consuming much of the match.”
