Things looking better for Lio Rush’s WWE TV return?

Based on a change made to his Twitter account, it looks like things between WWE and Lio Rush are much better these days…or at least fans are hoping that is the case.

It’s been months since Rush has been seen on Monday Night Raw and he was pulled off TV because of some issues that led to heat on him.

However, Rush just changed his Twitter name to “WWE SUPERSTAR Lio Rush.” He hasn’t said anything about his status but the name change and his recent tweets have led to speculation that he may be on his way back to WWE TV soon.

Here is what Rush said earlier this week when he was interviewed on the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast:

“I miss the fans, I miss doing what I love and like the saying goes never say never and I’m only 24 years old and of course I still want to wrestle and be a part of my dream company. I’m pretty sure it won’t be the last time you see me in a ring. But it is pretty cool that I get to have this opportunity to spend some time with my family because I haven’t been able to that much or as much as I’d like to since signing with WWE and also to take this time out to work on projects that I’ve always wanted to work on like this single that I just put out.”

Rush also said that he’s always been misunderstood because his demeanor was shaped by things he went through while growing up and his personality sometimes rubs people the wrong way.

Hopefully, Rush will have a chance to start over if/when he returns to WWE TV because he is very talented.
