On Wednesday, Reby Hardy fired off another series of tweets directed at Jeff Jarrett and Ed Nordholm. At one point, it seems like the whole mess over the rights to the “Broken” Universe characters was about to be settled, but now it looks like things will get worse before a settlement is reached.
The latest tweet storm started after someone replied “that’s bs” to someone saying that GFW would have signed off on a settlement if Hardy would have kept quiet on social media. Again, even if GFW believes they are right, the court of public opinion has already ruled against them and they would be much better off if they worked out something to end all of this so that this could can be lifted. It’s already tough to get decent ad revenue for pro wrestling. GFW needs to move away from Pop TV next year if they plan on making money from TV ad revenue. What is a TV executive going to think when they decide whether or not to bring GFW to their network and they see things like this playing out on social media?
