Thomas Pestock (Baron Corbin) Files For “Bishop Dyer” Trademark

Thomas Pestock (Baron Corbin) has applied for a new trademark. The former WWE star applied to trademark the term ‘Bishop Dyer’ on January 21st with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

It was made through Michael E. Dockins. Here is the description of the term that is listed for entertainment and merchandise purposes:

“Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”

“Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; Shirts; Hats; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts.”

Corrbin became a free agent on January 1st, when his contract with WWE officially expired as WWE opted not to renew it. As previously reported, Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reports that NJPW has shown interest in Corbin.

It was said both sides were in contact, but they weren’t sure how deep those talks were. Corbin worked his first match since his WWE departure, putting over Josh Barnett in a Bloodsport Match at The People vs. GCW.
