Three big names not scheduled for WWE WrestleMania 36

There are a few notable names not scheduled to wrestle this year at WrestleMania 36 in Tampa, Florida.

As previously noted, Goldberg is not scheduled for the show so that should tell you what will likely happen at Super ShowDown when he challenges Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship.

Also, Ronda Rousey is not scheduled for the show. Stephanie McMahon recently said that she would love to have Rousey and The Rock on next year’s WrestleMania 37 card in Los Angeles, CA. Rousey has been off since last year’s Mania and said at the time that she was trying to start a family with husband Travis Browne.

Another name that is not scheduled for this year’s show is Triple H. He is usually training extra hard around this time of year and getting ready for a big Mania feud but it looks like he is sitting this one out this year.

It will be interesting to see if Goldberg’s status changes because he drew a high quarter-hour rating during his pre-taped segment a couple of weeks ago. If he does it again this week then there’s always a chance that Vince McMahon may decide to try to get him on the card. If that happens, then it’s not out of the question for him to beat Wyatt and then face Roman Reigns in a “spear vs. spear” match at Mania.

Keep in mind that WWE is in talks with streaming companies about moving WrestleMania and if a deal can be worked out before April, then it would be in WWE’s best interest to put on the best WrestleMania card possible. Click here for news on WWE’s talks to move pay-per-views to ESPN+.
